Reporting to the CAO, the Director, Corporate Services is a member of the Senior Management Team overseeing the Financial Services, Information Technology, and Human Resources departments. The Director, Corporate Services supervises departmental staff in achieving the implementation of Council policies and directions, and meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements associated with the department’s programs, services and activities. In addition to the critical leadership of the Corporate Services Division, the Director, Corporate Services has several organization-wide responsibilities and accountabilities that transcend all departments and contributes to the development of strategies and processes which result in the formulation and achievement of the Town’s overall goals and objectives.
The successful applicant will have a University degree in Finance, Commerce, Business/Public Administration or related discipline, and a Professional Accounting designation in good standing. The successful applicant must have 10 years of progressive experience in the municipal sector in a senior management role with demonstrated experience in corporate services, finance, human resources, and information technology.
