  • The Water Utility Engineer is responsible for managing the planning, design, capital improvements and growth of the water distribution system by collecting, analyzing and organizing information, staff and resources.
  • This position will also lead the development of water distribution capital works programs and assist in the preparation of the operating and capital budgets as well as being responsible for managing capital projects for the Water Utility. 
  • Peterborough Utilities Group is committed to growth in our Water Department.
  • Technical requirements for the position include:  Degree in Civil Engineering and be eligible for registrations with the P.E.O. as a Professional Engineer coupled with five years of related experience in the design, construction, operation, maintenance and management of water utility treatment or distribution facilities.
