We have an opening for a Director, Policy Planning

This role will help to position Brampton for the future by developing strategic planning and change management concepts to foster policy direction, sustainable planning, heritage protection, growth management and regulatory compliance towards building a strong and complete community with both urban and greenfield opportunities.

The successful candidate:
  • Is a proven leader in City Building
  • Has extensive knowledge and experience in creating strong, forward looking land-use policy
  • Is willing to be creative and innovative in finding solutions to complex development challenges
  • Is a partner who collaborates with people across the corporation and beyond to develop solutions that advance our objectives
  • Has a proven track record of building and maintaining high performing teams who are engaged in their work and the workplace
