Responsible to: Council
The Director of Works and Engineering is responsible for the effective planning, administration and management in the divisions of Transportation; Water (Treatment and Distribution); Wastewater (Treatment and Collection); Engineering; and Planning in accordance with best practices and all applicable Municipal, Provincial and Federal Acts, Regulations, Policies and Standards. As a member of the Labour Relations Committee, works with the Directors to address Corporate and employee and labour relations matters.

Hours: Thirty–five (35) hours per week (some requirement for work outside of the office hours)
Compensation: $100,955 – $122,722 per annum
Benefits: Group Health, Dental and Life Insurance benefit plan after three months and OMERS Pension Plan as of date of hire.
