The Municipality of Bayham mayor and council have announced Thomas Thayer as the successful applicant for the CAO|Clerk position.

Thayer has an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography (Urban Development) and a Masters of Science in Geography (Urban Studies and Local Government) both from the University of Western Ontario. In addition, Thayer has earned a diploma in Municipal Administration (with Honours) and is a Certified Municipal Officer (CMO) with the Association of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers Ontario (AMCTO).

Thayer’s municipal experience spans upper tier, lower tier, and single tier governments with his most recent posting with the Municipality of Trent Hills as their Manager of Legislative Services/Deputy Clerk.
