Join us today as we wish a warm welcome to Ms. Tammy Davis as Professional Municipal Administrators’s (PMANL’s) new Executive Director and look forward to a very productive and positive next chapter of the association.
Tammy brings 20-plus years of leadership experience in fundraising, community development, volunteer management, and program delivery in the non-profit and social service sector. Most recently, Tammy held the position of Executive Director of United Way Newfoundland & Labrador for almost 13 years. In addition to her professional career in fundraising and foundation management Tammy is a consistent volunteer for various causes in the community. She is currently a member of the Telus Atlantic Community Board, and has recently completed terms as President and Past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter.
“We’re thrilled to have Tammy lead the organization into the next chapter. Her extensive background in community engagement and knowledge of the issues communities are currently facing is a great fit for PMA and our work to enhance and promote professional management and leadership excellence in local government throughout our Province,” said Brian Hudson, board president.
“It’s an honour to be chosen as the new executive director of PMA NL. I look forward to working with municipal administrators and leaders throughout Newfoundland & Labrador to ensuring that we have strong, vibrant communities where everyone matters,” said Davis.
Tammy began her role on Monday, August 10 and can be reached through the PMA office coordinates. She looks forward to connecting with you and continuing to build upon the successes of our outgoing Executive Director, Ms. Krista Parsons.
