The Township of Tiny has announced Robert J. Lamb as its new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).

“After a thorough recruitment process, council is very pleased with this outcome and came to the decision unanimously,” said Mayor George Cornell. “As a senior executive, Robert has a breadth of experience in the public and private sectors. We are excited to have hm join our team to lead the implementation of our strategic priorities with a focus on enhanced customer service.”

Prior to accepting the position with Tiny, Lamb spent several years with the Township of Tay as the CAO/Deputy Clerk. Lamb also spent four years as Simcoe County’s Manger of Economic Development.

Lamb brings with him an extensive background and aptitude in the public and private sectors and is well versed in many area, including leadership, management, economic development, and human resources.

Lamb will begin his employment with the township on February 22.

“We look forward to Robert’s wealth of experience, talent, and knowledge to lead the township forward,” Mayor Cornell said.
