Appointment as CAO & Economic Development Manager for Township of Black River-Matheson
Mayor Garry Edwards and the Council of the Township of Black River-Matheson are pleased to announce the appointment of John Regan to position of Chief Administrative Officer and Economic Development Manager for the Township. Mr. Regan has over 12 years of progressively more responsible municipal management experience across Ontario and comes to the township from the Clerk-Administrator position with the Village of Merrickvillle.
Mr. Regan’s appointment comes after a search that saw the Township advertise widely across the Canadian municipal sector and conduct a multi-step interview process with several well-qualified candidates for the position.
He has assumed his position with the municipality as of June 18, 2018
