The Township of Springwater has announced the appointment of Grant Taylor as Director of Public Works, effective April 15.
Taylor brings an extensive range of operational and construction management knowledge to his new role. Presently serving as VP Sector Manager – Program Management and Construction Management at T.Y Lin International Canada, he has amassed 16 years of experience at the City of Richmond Hill, most recently as the Director of Operations. Additionally, he spent four years as Director of Operations and Environmental Services in the Town of Ajax, preceded by his role as Manager of Roads Operations.
Taylor holds a Masters’ Certificate in Public Sector Management, a Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, and is a Certified Engineering Technologist.

Taylor will oversee transportation infrastructure, public facilities, stormwater management and the township’s environmental compliance under the Public Works portfolio at the Township of Springwater.
