The City of Sarnia is pleased to announce that Mr. David Logan has accepted the newly created position of Director of Corporate Services. This department will provide a broad range of services to the city and the corporation, including all matters related to Information Technology, Customer Service, Human Resources, Communications, Public Relations, and Community Emergency Management. His start date with the city will be April 6, 2020.

David will be leaving the Niagara Parks Commission, where he held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer. Previously, he served as the Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for the Wellington Health Care Alliance, Senior Director of Labour Relations with the Victorian Order of Nurses, and President and CEO of the Health Employers Association of British Columbia. He also held positions as the Assistant Deputy Minister, Employee Relations Division for the Ontario Public Services and the Director of Employee and Labour Relations for the City of Hamilton. Prior to that, he was a lawyer in private practice.

David received a Master of Laws Degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, a LL.B from Queen’s University, and an honours BA Degree from the University of Guelph.
