Just an hour drive from downtown Toronto is the Town of Lincoln. Due to its easy-to-reach location and small-town charm, considerable development pressure has been placed on the town in the recent past. When the town became a permanent part of Ontario’s Greenbelt, council wanted to put in place tools necessary to enhance those design elements that contribute most to that small town feel, function, and livability.
