Markham's civic centre goes zero waste

The Town of Markham, Ontario, north of Toronto, has a waste diversion rate of 70 percent (as of October 2008) and is still not satisfied. Now, the town is taking diversion to a whole new level by embracing the concept of ZeroWaste.
