Local government champions say goodbye – for now
Alberta’s municipal election took place this past fall. But voters in three of the province’s largest cities went to the polls without a trio of local government stalwarts on the ballot.
Those saying farewell to their city halls in 2021 are:
- Naheed Nenshi in Calgary;
- Don Iveson in Edmonton; and
- Chris Spearman in Lethbridge.
