The story of the pizza box is as near to a legend as The Corporation of the City of Kitchener gets. The generic white box, stained with grease, was a stand-in for a notebook during a pivotal teambuilding session. Scribbled in pen on the top of the box are the makings of the city’s innovative economic development investment fund (EDIF).
