Saturday, May 12, 2012 was a very special day for the volunteer members of the Carleton Place Community Emergency Response Volunteer (CERV) Program. Attendees not only met at the local fire hall facility to receive further emergency management training, but also gathered to celebrate together, their 10th year of service in the community.

Part of the morning session dealt with two topics of interest to the local volunteers. The first workshop was a traffic/crowd control
