Municipalities can set smart policy without impacting housing affordability
Governments across Canada are getting serious about addressing climate change. The current target is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to 30 percent lower than 2005 levels by 2030. Both new home construction and renovation of existing residences must be part of the solution. We’ll need innovation, collaboration, and motivated residents to get there – and we’ll also need to tackle affordability.
