Presentation of the Peter J. Marshall Award is a highlight of any Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) conference. This may have been especially true in 2022. This year’s event, held in Ottawa, August 14-17, was the first in-person AMO conference since 2019.

The award recognizes innovative approaches to improving capital and/or operating efficiency. It also spotlights projects that generate effectiveness through alternative service delivery initiatives. The award honours one of Ontario’s youngest
