For over a quarter-century, the Community Energy Association has presented the Climate and Energy Action Awards to municipalities, regional districts, and Indigenous communities in British Columbia.
The 2023 awards were announced at the Union of BC Municipalities Convention in September, recognizing seven winning initiatives. The winning communities were Town of Gibsons, City of Kelowna, Musqueam Indian Band, City of Powell River, District of Saanich (two wins), District of Summerland, City of Victoria,
