On Nov. 28, 2022, most of New Brunswick’s 77 municipalities and all 12 rural districts held their election.

Those elected started their mandate on Jan. 1 marking a new beginning of a long-awaited reform for many who wanted everyone in this province to have local representation.

For more than one-third of the people of New Brunswick, this was the first time they could participate in an election to elect
