The town council of Ramara, ON has appointed Zach Drinkwalter to the position of Chief Administrative Officer. Drinkwalter, who has been with the Township of Ramara since 2017, has progressed through various roles within the organization, from Deputy Treasurer to Director of Corporate Services/Treasurer to Acting CAO. From 2021 to January 2022 Drinkwalter also served in the role of Acting CAO.
“I am honoured to take on this new challenge and look forward to working with staff, Council and the community on present and future initiatives,” states Zach Drinkwalter.
Over the past five years, he played a significant role in developing Ramara’s strong financial sustainability, secure IT network and customer service.
“Council and I are happy to have Zach as our New Chief Administrative Officer,” said Mayor Basil Clarke. “Zach has played a vital role in the organization for the past five years and has demonstrated his ability to be a strong leader and an asset to our organization.”
