Cultural mapping – discovering the treasures in your own backyard

One of my favourite quotes comes from 19th-century naturalist Louis Agassiz: “I spent the summer travelling; I got half-way across my backyard.” So it is, I think, with the process of cultural mapping and discovering – and sharing – the treasure that lies within our own backyards.
